Online Journals

  • HeinOnline provides access to more than 70 tax specific journals in PDF format.
  • Index to Legal Periodicals & Books is an index to law journals and books from 1908 to 1980.
  • Thomson Reuters Checkpoint (Formerly RIA Checkpoint) provides full-text access to several well known journals from WG&L and RIA, including the Journal of Taxation.
  • CCH Tax Research Network contains tax news as well as federal and state tax information, including Taxes: the Magazine.  Limited access, see Reference office.

 

Use the GMU Libraries e-Journal Finder to search for any journal by title to gain online access.  The University's Libraries subscribe to various tax jounals in the area of law and other areas such as economics and business.

Print Journals

The Library has a number of historic journals which address various areas of tax law.  Most of the same resources can also be found using Hein Online

Searching the Library catalog should identify various access points, both online and in print.
