Tribe's treatise, American Constitutional Law, whose first edition was published in 1978, was identified in The Journal of Legal Studies (January 2000) as the most frequently cited legal text published in the second half of the 20th century. Note: Tribe chose to cease publication of the 3rd edition after the first volume was published. The earlier edition should be found on the same shelf.
