Lexis Study Aids

Our LexisNexis Digital Library offers on-demand access to the Understanding series and the Question & Answer series in an easy-to-read, book-like format. Titles can be downloaded and/or accessed on the mobile app. In addition to the study aids, two books used in LRWA are available online here, too: A Lawyer Writes and Plain English for Lawyers

Using the Lexis Digital Library:

  1. Go to https://lexisdl.com/library/gmu/browse.
  2. Sign in with your GMU authenticated account.
  3. Once you are logged in, you have access to the full LexisNexis Digital Library.

There is also a link to the Digital Library available on Lexis+, via the Product Switcher in the top left corner of the home page.

Using the Lexis Digital Library App:

Lexis Study Aids are also conveniently available on your phone or tablet with with Lexis Digital Library App. The app is available on Apple and Android Devices:

West Academic Study Aids

  • The Law Library subscribes to a complete set of online West Academic Study Aids on your behalf. 
  • If you have not yet set up an account for this resource, then you can navigate to the West Academic homepage and use your gmu.edu address to set up an account. A link is also provided in our list of Law Related databases and from the Quick Links menu on all Law School webpages.

You can also conveniently access West Study Aids on your phone or tablet using the VitalSource Bookshelf App (e-books) or the West Academic Audio App (audiobooks).
