Treatises, hornbooks, outlines, case briefs, and other study materials to help law students achieve academic success.


The Law Library has most current editions of Study Aids on Reserve for 2-hour checkout, as well as many of the older edition in the stacks upstairs for longer checkout.

All the series published by West Academic (Q&A, Nutshells, Acing series, Concepts & Insights, Concise Hornbooks, Gilbert’s/Sum + Substance audio lectures, and Law Stories) are available on your TWEN Study Aid page, as well as even more series not carried by the library.

Study Aid Pro-Tips

  • Don’t get bogged down trying to read all the study aids! Pick ones that suit your purposes and concentrate on those.
  • Use the "Virtual Browse" function at the bottom of each catalog entry to view subject-related materials and other related study aids.
