Using Primo, the Library catalog, to Find Books & Articles

About the Library's tool for searching print and online collections for books, articles and more.

The tabs for ILL Requests or Search by Citation are not the best access points for requesting interlibrary loans or retrieving articles by citations.

Interlibrary and intercampus loans should be made using the Illiad tool found here https://www.law.gmu.edu/library/services/ill .

If you have questions or need assistance with a loan, please contact the Law Library Library Circulation Desk at 703-993-8120.

To effectively use the Search by Citation tab, one must have complete citation information. The full journal title, volume and starting page for the article are minimal requirements. If you have this information, try filling in the template.

Drop by the Reference office if you need help with research strategies and locating materials or reach the staff by calling 703-993-8076 or by email at lawref@gmu.edu.
